Chrome Cordless Table Lamp with a Touch Dimmer

Chrome is an unusual finish for a battery lamp and it changes how the object sits in a room. A matte colored lamp is a shape. A polished one is a mirror, picking up the timber, the wall color and the daylight around it, so it never looks quite the same in two places. That is the practical argument for the touch dimmer beyond mood. Every step down in brightness buys runtime, so on a battery lamp the dimmer is doing something a mains dimmer does not. There is no mains option, so if the lamp will sit in one spot permanently and be used all evening, plan on charging it roughly weekly.
