The sconce is hardwired. There is no plug and no cord, so you need a junction box in the wall. If there is no box where you want it, an electrician can add one. The socket takes an E26 or E27 bulb, which is the standard screw size. No bulb comes in the box.

A warm white LED near 2700K suits a bedroom best. Anything above 3000K will read cool and clinical. The rated voltage is 110V to 240V, so it runs on a US 120V circuit. The shade comes in green, black or white. The brass arm is the same on all three, so the metal reads warm whichever colour you pick.
