Aiming the Head and Switching Modes

The magnetic ball turns through a full 360 degrees. You can point the head up, down or along the wall.

Aimed down it works as a reading light over a bed. Aimed at the wall it becomes an indirect glow.

Three colour modes run from warm to cool. Warm suits a bedroom at night. Cooler light suits reading.

Brightness is adjustable rather than fixed, so you can drop it low without switching off.

The body has touch controls, and a remote handset is included. The remote matters when the sconce is above a bed and you are already lying down.

A second, softer night light sits alongside the main reading light.

Battery Life and Living With It

A full charge gives up to 15 hours of light. That is several evenings of ordinary reading.

Charging takes under three hours. You can leave it on the mount or take it to a socket.

Running it dimmed stretches the time considerably. Running it bright and cool uses the most.

Two finishes are offered, a matte black and a white. Both ship with the remote.
