Adjustable Wall Sconce Wood Arm Tilting Metal Shade

A fixed sconce lights one spot forever. This one moves. The shade sits on a swivel where it meets the arm, so you can drop it onto a book, push it up at the wall, or turn it along the bed. The arm reaches 8.7 in out, which is far enough to clear a headboard and get the light over your shoulder.

Aiming It at a Book

Point the shade down and slightly inward for reading in bed.

Too high and the beam lands past the book on the covers.

The wood is left bare, so it will warm in tone over time.

That happens on every colour and is not a defect.

Keep it out of direct sun if you want the tone to stay even.

Fitting and Bulbs

The backplate is 3.9 in round and covers a standard box.

It is hardwired, so you need a point at the right height.

The spec lists a bulb as included, with an E27 base.

E27 is the common screw fitting, so replacements are easy.

Keep the lamp compact so it clears the shade when you tilt it.

A long filament lamp can poke out when the shade is angled up.

At 1.8 lb it is light, but the arm gives it leverage.

Fix it into a stud or use proper anchors rather than short screws.

The supplier lists CE, EMC, CCC, FCC and RoHS certifications.

It also states that bulbs are included, which is unusual at this price.
