Real Travertine Stone and Solid Wood
This pendant light is made from real travertine stone. Two stone rings sit above and below a band of solid wood. A white panel closes the base and spreads the light. You can pick a single pendant, or two, three or four heads on a wooden ceiling bar. There is also a three head cluster on a round plate. The wood comes dark stained or natural. Each cord hangs up to 59 inches and can be shortened. LED bulbs are included and use a standard E27 base.

Most kitchen island pendants are glass or metal. This one is stone. Travertine is a limestone full of small open pores, so every shade has its own pitting and grain. No two are the same. A band of solid wood sits in the middle and breaks up the stone. Lit from inside, the pores catch the light along the rim. Unlit, it reads as a solid object rather than a light fitting.
How Many Heads to Hang Over a Kitchen Island
A standard kitchen island runs 6 to 8 feet long. Three heads on the 31.5 inch bar suit most of them. Four heads on the 39.4 inch bar fit a longer island or a big dining table. Two heads on the 23.6 inch bar work over a breakfast bar or a short run of bench.
The supplier rates each head to light 108 to 161 square feet. One head is enough for a hallway or a bedside. Three or four cover an open kitchen and dining space. You can also buy several single pendants and space them along an island on separate ceiling points.
Linear Bar or Round Cluster
The two, three and four head versions hang from a straight wooden bar. The heads sit in a line at the same height. That is the shape you want over an island or a long table.
The three head cluster is different. It hangs from a round plate 11.8 inches across. The three cords are set to different lengths, so the shades stagger instead of lining up. That suits a round table, a stairwell, or a corner where a straight line would look wrong.
Both plates come in the same two finishes as the shades. The dark stain reads as a warm brown. The natural finish is a pale, unstained timber.
Light Colour, Bulbs and Wiring
LED bulbs are included, so there is nothing else to buy. They screw into a standard E27 socket, which is the large screw fitting. Each head draws 7 watts. A four head version draws 28 watts in total.
You choose the light colour when you order. Warm light at 3000K is yellow and suits a dining table. Neutral at 4000K sits closer to daylight. Cold at 6000K is a white working light for a kitchen bench. The fixture is not dimmable, and the colour cannot be changed later.
It is rated 90 to 260 volts, which covers US mains at 120 volts. The fixture fixes to a ceiling point and there is no plug on the cord. Each cord arrives at 59 inches and can be shortened as you fit it.
