A Wall Sconce for Bedroom Walls That Keeps the Nightstand Clear
This wall sconce puts soft light right where you read. It mounts on the wall, so your nightstand stays clear. Choose a fabric shade for a warm, traditional look. Or choose a glass shade for a cleaner shape. Every design takes one E27 bulb up to 40 watts. The bulb is not included, so you pick the brightness. Black, white and wood finishes are all sold here. Heights run from 10.2 to 14.2 inches. It suits a bedroom, a study, a dining room or a foyer.

Most bedside lamps eat the one flat surface you have. This one does not. It bolts to the wall above the bed, so the table below stays free for a book and a glass of water. Seven designs share the same fitting. Some take a fabric shade, some take glass. One sits on a wood plate with switches built in. Pick the shape that matches your room.
Which Shade Suits Your Room
Five of the seven designs use a fabric shade. L is black on a black frame. M is white on a white frame. A is the tall narrow one at 13.8 inches. G is the wide one at 11.8 inches. I hangs its shade from a curved arm. All five throw a soft warm light through cloth.
The other two use glass. C is a slim white tube on a round plate, 12.6 inches tall and only 3.9 inches off the wall. D is a wide cone on a gooseneck arm. It sits on a wood backplate with rotary switches. At 14.2 inches it is the largest of the seven.
Shade colour is the one thing the option list calls out, but it is doing more work than that. Each value changes the frame, the arm and the size as well. Read the card for the letter you want before you add it to the cart. Every card is in the gallery above.
Fitting It to the Wall
The sconce is wall mounted and runs on AC power. The rated range is 110 to 220 volts, which covers the 120 volt supply in the United States. Hire an electrician if you are not confident with wiring.
Hold the backplate against the wall and mark the screw holes. Fix the plate, connect the wires, then slide the shade onto the holder. Each design has its own backplate shape and its own size. Check the size row below before you drill.
The light points down through the shade on most of the designs. The glass tube on C glows along its whole length instead. That makes C the better pick for a hallway, where you want the wall lit rather than one spot.
Picking the Bulb
No bulb comes in the box. The holder is an E27 screw base and takes up to 40 watts. That leaves the colour and the brightness to you.
A warm white LED around 5 watts is what the product photos use. It gives a soft yellow light that suits a bedroom. Pick a brighter bulb if you want to read by it. The fixture is not dimmable, so a dimmer switch will not work here.
