An Adjustable Wall Sconce You Can Point Anywhere
The head on this wall sconce swivels on a knuckle. Point it down at a book, up at a shelf, or flat at the wall. The body is painted metal with a round backplate 3.9 inches across. It stands 6.7 inches tall and reaches 3.7 inches off the wall. A GU10 LED bulb is included. Choose black, green, red or beige. A switch on the body saves a trip to the wall.

Most wall lights point one way and stay there. This one does not. The head sits on a knuckle and turns. Aim it down at a pillow for reading. Aim it up to wash a bare wall with light. Aim it across at a picture or a shelf. The fixture is small, about the size of a coffee mug. It does not crowd a narrow wall or a tight corner.
Where an Adjustable Wall Sconce Earns Its Place
Beside a bed is the usual spot. Mount it just above the headboard. Tilt the head down and the light lands on the page. The rest of the room stays dark. A ceiling light cannot do that.
It also works over a desk. Fix it above the back edge and aim it at the work surface. The beam is narrow. It lights the desk and not your eyes.
In a hallway, point it at a picture or a door. On a staircase, point it down at the treads. In a living room, turn it up and let the light run across the wall. One fixture does all of those jobs because the head moves.
Plug It In or Wire It In
You choose the cord when you order. The cord leaves the bottom of the round mount and runs down the wall. That means no electrician and no new wiring. Use the socket you already have.
There is also a no plug version. That one is meant for hardwiring into a wall box, which is an electrician's job. The fixture runs on 90 to 260 volts. US mains at 120 volts sits inside that range. The supplier does not state a cord length.
The Bulb, the Light and the Colours
A GU10 LED bulb comes in the box, so there is nothing else to buy. GU10 is the small twist and lock bulb, not the big screw type. It sits inside the metal cylinder and stays out of sight at normal angles.
One bulb covers about 32 to 54 square feet. That is a bedside, a desk or a short run of hallway. It is not a room light, and it is not dimmable. A switch on the body turns it on and off, so you can reach it from the bed.
