Both share the same 4.33 inch width, so only the height changes between them.

Warm Light and a High Colour Rendering Index

The LED runs at 3000K with a colour rendering index above 90. That figure is worth attention on an exterior fixture, because most outdoor lighting sits well below it and renders brick, timber and planting as flat grey-brown once the sun has gone.

Above 90 the materials keep their colour after dark. Warm 3000K light also picks up the natural tone in stone and wood rather than cooling it, which is why it is specified here in preference to the cooler temperatures often used outdoors. The frosted lens spreads the output evenly along the cylinder so there is no visible hot spot at either end of it.

Dimming, Rating and Installation

A dimmable version is offered alongside the standard non-dimmable one, working with a TRIAC dimmer that is not included. Choosing this at the point of order matters, since the non-dimmable fixture cannot be made dimmable later on. On a long facade with several fixtures, dimming is what lets the scheme be pulled back once the planting matures and reflects more light.

The rating is IP54, covering dust and splashing water. That suits a sheltered wall, a covered patio or a facade under an eave rather than a fully exposed parapet. It hardwires on 110 to 220 volts, weighs between 3.31 and 4.41 pounds by size, and wattage is 8W or 12W accordingly. The fixing pattern sits behind the backplate so no screws are visible once the sconce is mounted.
