LED Wall Sconce with a Pull Chain and Rotating Head
This LED wall sconce is a flat bar with a disc head that turns. The head rotates through 350 degrees, so you can aim the light up the wall, down onto a book, or out into the room. A pull chain hangs from the bottom, so it switches at the fixture and needs no wall switch. The LED is built in and rated at 9W. The bar is 10.4 in tall and 6.1 in wide and sits only 1.8 in off the wall.

Two things make this one practical rather than decorative. The head turns almost a full circle, so one fixture covers reading, wall washing and general light. And the pull chain means you switch it where you are standing. Beside a bed that removes the reach across to a wall switch. The body is a flat bar only 1.8 in deep, so it stays close to the wall while the head does the moving.
Aiming the Head Where You Need It
The disc head turns through 350 degrees on the bar.
Point it up and it washes the wall above, which lifts a low room.
Point it down and it becomes a reading light over a bed or a chair.
Point it out and it lights the room in front of it.
You can change your mind later without touching the wiring.
The bar itself stays fixed. Only the head moves.
Rotating the head does not move the bar, so the fixing stays put.
That means you can change the aim seasonally without redrilling.
The head turns 350 degrees rather than a full circle, so there is a stop.
Turn it back the other way rather than forcing it past the stop.
Why the Pull Chain Matters
The chain hangs about 8 in below the fixture and switches it on and off.
Beside a bed that is the difference between reaching up and getting out.
It also means you do not need a switched circuit at the wall.
The chain finish matches the fixture, so it does not stand out.
Nothing about the chain changes the light itself. It is a switch, not a dimmer.
A chain is more reliable than a touch switch and needs no batteries.
It also works in the dark without hunting for anything.
The chain hangs free, so it does not scratch the finish.
If the drop is too long you can shorten it at the connector.
Finish, Colour Temperature and Fitting
The bar comes in gold, white or black, each with its own chain finish.
Some are supplied as a warm white and some as a neutral 4000K. Check which you are ordering.
The LED is built in and rated at 9 W, so it draws very little.
Input is AC 85 to 265 V, which covers a 120 V supply.
The fixture is 1.8 in deep, so it does not catch you in a narrow hallway.
The bar is flat, so it does not project into a walkway.
That makes it usable in a hallway where a deeper fixture would not fit.
Because the LED is integrated there is no lamp to replace.
That also means the fixture is not dimmable by changing the bulb.
Mount it at reading height beside a bed or a chair for the best use.
