Gold Wall Sconce with a Cut Crystal Shade
This sconce holds a faceted crystal cone on a curved gold arm. The arm drops from a round wall plate, then lifts back up to the shade. That curve carries the light away from the wall. The crystal is cut into narrow vertical panels. Each panel picks up the bulb and throws small bright points onto the wall around it. The fixture measures 6 in wide, 11 in high and 8.5 in deep. It is hardwired and takes an E12 or E14 bulb, which is not included.

Most wall lights sit flat and push light straight out. This one does not. The arm curves down from the wall plate and then rises again, so the shade stands clear of the wall. The shade is a cone cut into narrow vertical panels. Each panel is a flat face. When the bulb is on, every face picks up a little of it and passes it on at a different angle.
The effect is a scatter of bright points rather than one even wash. It shows up best against a plain wall or a dark painted one. On a busy wallpaper it reads softer.
The crystal is clear, so the bulb stays visible through it. A small candle style bulb suits the shape. The socket takes an E12 or E14 base, which is the narrow size.
The shade is open at the bottom. Light drops straight down from there onto whatever sits below. The cut faces handle the sideways light and the open base handles the rest. Together they cover a face evenly, with no hard shadow under the chin. That is the main reason to choose this over a flat wall panel.

The fixture is 6 in wide and 11 in high. It stands 8.5 in out from the wall. That depth is worth checking in a narrow hallway before you order.
It suits a spot where a lamp will not fit. Beside a mirror, along a landing, or either side of a bed. Mounted at about 60 in from the floor, the shade sits near eye level.

Wiring This Gold Wall Light
The sconce is hardwired. It connects to a wall box behind the round plate, so there is no cord and no plug. You will need a switched wall point at the mounting height.

No bulb is included. Order an E12 or E14 bulb with the light. A warm white LED gives the sparkle without the heat of a filament bulb in a small crystal shade.
