Glass Pendant Light with a Shade Inside a Shade
This glass pendant light puts one shade inside another. The outer piece is a tall glass cloche. The inner piece is a shorter tinted cylinder holding the lamp. You see through the outer glass to the inner one, which gives the pendant real depth rather than a flat silhouette. The tint comes in amber or grey. Two layers of glass change what you see. Looking at the pendant you read the outer cloche first, then the inner cylinder through it, then the lamp inside that. You get a downward pool plus a glow through the sides.
