Cone Pendant Light With a Wood Top
This pendant pairs a solid wood top with a painted aluminium cone. Three widths are offered and they are not the same shape. The 5.5 in version is a tall narrow cone. The 8.7 in and 9.8 in versions are wide and shallow. So the size you pick changes the silhouette, not just the scale. Five colours are available: black, yellow, white, grey and silver. The cord comes in black or white. It takes an E27 bulb.

Read the size options on this one carefully, because they are not simply small, medium and large. The 5.5 in cone is tall and narrow, almost a funnel. The 8.7 in and 9.8 in cones are wide and shallow, closer to a classic shade. They share a wood top and a painted finish, but they do different jobs in a room.
The Narrow Cone Against the Wide One
The 5.5 in cone is 9.8 in tall and only 5.5 in across.
That deep shape holds the bulb well up inside it.
Light comes out in a narrow column with very little spill.
Use it as a task light over a bench or a bedside.
The wide cones are shallower and let light out at a broader angle.
They cover more of a table and light the faces around it.
The 9.8 in one is the most generous and suits a dining table.
Hang narrow cones in a row. Hang a wide cone on its own.
Three narrow cones and one wide cone do not belong in the same room.
Hang the narrow cone lower than you would a wide one.
Its beam is tighter, so it needs to be closer to do the same job.
The wide cones spread enough to sit higher without going dim.
Five Colours and Two Cords
Black and white are the neutrals and go anywhere.
Grey and silver are quieter, with silver reading as brushed metal.
Yellow is the loud one and works as a single accent.
The wood top is the same pale timber on all five.
The cord is ordered separately in black or white.
A white cord on a white ceiling almost vanishes.
A black cord draws a deliberate line and suits a dark shade.
Match the cord to the ceiling, not to the shade.
Silver is a bare metal finish rather than a painted one.
It reflects the room around it, so it changes with the light.
The other four are painted and hold a flat, even colour.
Bulbs and Hanging Height
It takes an E27 lamp, which you supply.
The deep narrow cone hides the bulb completely from below.
The wide cones show the lamp if you stand back, so pick a tidy one.
A warm white lamp suits the bare wood top.
Over an island, keep the shade base about 30 to 36 in above the bench.
Over a dining table, 28 to 32 in is usually right.
At 2.2 lb it hangs from a standard ceiling rose.
It is hardwired rather than plug in, so plan the point first.
The supplier lists a three year warranty on this fixture.
Stated coverage runs from 54 to 108 sq ft.
The listed luminous flux range is unusually wide, so treat it as indicative.
