How the Motion Sensor Behaves

The sensor is a PIR type. It reacts to a warm body moving, not to light or sound.

It covers a 120 degree spread in front of the bar.

The listed range is 6.6 to 13.1 ft, so it picks you up before you reach the cabinet.

It switches off on its own once nothing has moved for a short while.

The sensor only works when the bar is on its mount and switched to sensor mode.

There is a manual mode as well if you would rather it stayed on.

In a deep cupboard, mount the bar near the front so the sensor sees you.

Anything blocking the front of the bar will shorten the effective range.

Three Light Colours and Where Each Suits

You can switch the bar between 3000K, 4000K and 6000K.

3000K is a warm white. It matches most kitchen and bedroom lighting.

4000K is neutral. It is the easiest to read colours under, so it suits a wardrobe.

6000K is a cool, bright white. Use it where you want the space to feel clinical rather than cosy.

The setting stays where you put it, so you are not choosing every time.

Warm light hides dust and marks. Cool light shows them.

In a kitchen, matching the bar to the ceiling lights keeps the room consistent.

In a wardrobe, neutral light is the honest one for checking what matches.

Switching between the three takes a moment and does not need the bar removed.

Mounting, Charging and Picking a Length

The mount is an adhesive strip with magnets in it. Stick the strip, then press the bar on.

Because the join is magnetic, the bar comes off in one pull for charging.

The bar is only 0.4 in thick and 1.5 in wide. It sits flat under a cabinet edge.

Three lengths are offered: 7.9 in, 16.7 in and 23.6 in.

Match the length to the run you want lit. A short bar under a long counter leaves dark ends.

The bar comes in black or silver, so it can disappear against a dark or a pale cabinet.

Clean and dry the surface before you press the adhesive strip on.

Press it firmly and leave it before hanging any weight on it.

Charging is over a cable, and the bar goes straight back on the magnets after.
