Adjustable LED Recessed Spotlight
Most recessed lights point straight down and stay there. This one moves. The head folds out of the housing by up to 80 degrees and turns through 350 degrees. That lets you aim a beam at a wall, a picture or a bench from a fitting that sits flush when you do not need it. The body is aluminium. It comes in black or white, from 3W up to 12W. Some wattages are offered in a dimmable version and some are not.

A fixed downlight lights the floor. That is fine for a corridor and useless for a picture. This spotlight moves on two axes. It folds out of its housing by up to 80 degrees, then turns almost the full circle. So one fitting can wash a wall, pick out a shelf, or point straight down like an ordinary downlight.
Aiming a Beam Instead of Flooding a Room
A downlight aimed at the floor lights the floor and nothing else.
Tilt the same lamp 30 degrees and it washes the wall instead.
That is the difference between a lit room and a flat one.
Point one at a painting and the painting becomes the brightest thing.
Point a row along a wall and you get an even graze down the surface.
Set them about 12 to 18 in out from the wall for that.
Closer and you get a hard scallop. Further and the effect washes out.
In a hallway, alternating aimed and straight down reads well.
Over a bench, aim them slightly forward so you are not in your own shadow.
Three or four aimed spots beat a single central fitting in almost any room.
Plan where the light lands before you plan where the holes go.
Mark the ceiling and stand in the room before cutting anything.
Picking the Wattage
3W and 5W are accent levels. Use them on art or shelves.
7W is the general purpose choice for most ceilings.
10W and 12W suit high ceilings or a room lit by spots alone.
Wattage does not change the size of the beam, only its brightness.
More lamps at a lower wattage beats fewer bright ones.
Check which wattages come in a dimmable version before ordering.
The dimmable option is listed separately rather than applying to all.
Three light colours are offered: cold, natural and warm white.
The supplier lists the fixture as dimmable, but only some wattages are sold that way.
The option list is the reliable guide, not the specification row.
Order the dimmable variant explicitly if you want it on a dimmer.
Fitting and Finish
It fixes with spring clips, so it needs a cut hole in the ceiling.
Cut out sizes vary by wattage, so check before you drill.
The head sits proud of the ceiling rather than buried in it.
That is what gives it the room to fold and turn.
Black disappears against a dark ceiling and stands out on a white one.
White is the quieter choice and is what most ceilings want.
At 0.8 lb the clips carry it easily in plasterboard.
The LED is built in, so there is no lamp to replace.
The supplier gives cut out sizes of 55 to 60 mm, 65 mm and 90 to 96 mm.
Those are quoted against wattages that do not match the option list exactly.
Confirm the cut out for the exact version you order before drilling.
