Frosted Glass Globe Wall Lamp on a Gold Bracket

Most globe sconces hang the sphere off an arm, which reads as a stick with a ball on the end. This one uses a small triangular bracket instead, so the globe sits tight against the wall and the metal almost disappears behind it. The result is a shape rather than a fixture, and it is why the double version reads as two spheres floating one above the other.

Single globe or the stacked double

The single is 5.9 inches square in profile and is the quieter of the two. It suits a hallway, an entry nook, or a pair either side of a bed where the fitting should be neat rather than noticeable.

The double stacks two globes to 12 inches high on the same width, so it fills a tall narrow section of wall without taking any more space sideways. That makes it the better choice on the pier between two doors, in a stairwell, or on a large blank wall where the single would look undersized. Both versions share the same bracket and the same globe diameter, so a single and a double can be mixed in one room without looking mismatched.

Gold or silver against your other metals

The gold-plated finish is warm and reads as brass at a distance. It suits a room that already has brass door handles, timber, or warm paint, and it is the finish that makes the frosted glass look warmer even before the light is on.

Silver is cooler and more neutral. It disappears against a grey or white wall, which is what you want when the globes should be the only thing you notice, and it matches chrome tapware or brushed steel hardware elsewhere in the room.

G9 bulbs and coverage

The socket is G9, the small two-pin capsule, and the bulb is not included. Check that before ordering, since G9 is not the screw base most fittings use. The capsule is tiny, which is what lets the globe stay compact, and an LED version runs cool enough for an enclosed glass shade where the old halogen capsules ran very hot.

Warm white at 2700 to 3500K and cool white at 5500 to 7000K are both offered. Warm is the right default in a bedroom or hallway; cool is a stark choice at this scale and is rarely what a home wants. The quoted coverage of 54 to 108 square feet is accent lighting, so plan the fitting as one layer rather than the main light in a room. It is hardwired, so installation needs an electrician.
