Each one is a shallow curve that bends light slightly outward. The result is a shade covered in narrow bands of bright and dim.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSit under it and you get warm light on the table with no single hot point to look at. Cognac is the warmer of the two and pushes everything under it toward amber.
